Mima Geere, MD, MS, NU

Mima Geere spent over 18 years building a foundation of knowledge and experience in health and wellness, starting as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer. Mima received her master’s degree in nutrition science from Columbia University's Institute of Human Nutrition and medical degree from the University of Vermont, with residency and fellowship training in clinical lab medicine and clinical informatics from the University of California, San Francisco. Her expertise is in the area of cardio-metabolic health with a focus on the science of nutrition and wellness. She developed and taught curriculum on metabolic syndrome, ketosis, and insulin resistance. Mima serves as the Medical Director for a prominent weight-loss and wellness program and as a cardio-metabolic health expert consultant for a large diagnostic testing company. Her approach is scientific and holistic with a mind-body ethic. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, her 4-year-old daughter, and her Great Dane, Zelda.
