Our Emergency Department has been designated a Level 4 Trauma Center, certified by the Arkansas Department of Health. We deliver a comprehensive range of care to patients with severe or life-threatening injuries. We aim to keep wait times as short as possible, allowing our patients the peace of mind that they will be receiving care as quickly as possible. Emergencies rarely wait for a convenient time to strike, but when they do you'll feel better knowing that you can count on River Valley Medical Center to protect the health of you and your loved ones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab

Our mission is to reduce disability from cardiac events through education. This outpatient 12-18 week program strives to reduce your risk of heart problems by providing nutritional counseling and support, prevention, disease management, and physical rehabilitation. Our staff will assess, plan, and implement a structured and monitored exercise regimen to improve the quality of life and contribute to a mote healthy society.

Our central goal is to equip seniors with the tools they need to age with agency and grace. Inspirations seeks to take care of the whole patient, rather than simply focusing on a single aspect of their health. From healthy eating to demystifying smartphones and computers to dealing with disability, our program is designed to reduce depression and promote a more active lifestyle well into your Golden Years.

Phases Behavioral Health Unit

At River Valley Medical Center, we understand the challenges associated with geriatric psychiatry. It's never easy to watch a loved one struggle with the deleterious effects of age, and it may be difficult for families to provide the level of care needed. Our Phases Behavioral Health Unit seeks to provide support and accommodation for patients who require personalized and compassionate mental healthcare. We prioritize maintaining a good quality of life for seniors aged 55 and up, as well as promoting stronger relationships with family and friends.

Radiology

River Valley Medical Center Radiology/ Medical Imaging Department offers state-of –the art imaging technology. Our board-certified radiologists work in conjunction with your primary care physician to help diagnose and treat diseases and conditions.

Bone Density Testing Mindways Quantitative CT (QCT) is a fast, non-invasive technology that performs bone mineral density (BMD) exams of the lumbar spine and proximal femur, utilizing low dose scan protocols on a standard CT scanner.

Computed Tomography (CT or CAT Scan)Toshiba Medical Systems is committed to the development of new technologies to minimize radiation dose while maintaining industry-leading image quality. These dose-reduction technologies and more are standard in the Aquilion RXL CT system.

Diagnostic X-rays X-Ray is one of the most common and widely available diagnostic tools. In many cases, your doctor will order an X-ray procedure first before requesting any advanced testing, such as CT, MRI or Nuclear Medicine test. River Valley Medical Center has just installed a new, digital Carestream/ Quantum System.

Echocardiography ECHO for short, is a simple and painless procedure that uses sound waves to take images of your heart. It can evaluate the structures of your heart as well as the direction of blood flow inside of it.

Ultrasound Imaging Ultrasound uses reflected sound waves to see the size, shape and real-time movement of organs and soft tissues.
