Nemaha Valley Community Hospital plays a vital part in the health of patients in and around Nemaha County. It is a not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital providing adult and pediatric hospital based healthcare services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, 24 hour a day emergency room services, diagnostic laboratory services, radiology services including in-house diagnostic CT, sonography, and mammography in addition to mobile MRI.

Outpatient Clinic

Nemaha Valley Community Hospital has an in house Outpatient Clinic that provides a variety of specialties including Allergy & Asthma, Audiology, Cardiology, Child Psychiatry and Therapy, Dermatology, Dietitian, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Speech-Language Pathology, General Surgery, Urology, VA Clinic and Wound Clinic, Physiatrist Rehabilitation Medicine, EMG's, Pain Clinic. 

Physical & Occupational Therapy

The Physical Therapy Staff treats patients with various diagnoses including post surgical patients, total joints, generalized weakness, acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, vestibular training, wound care, post CVA patients and work comp patients.


Respiratory Therapy

At NVCH a specially trained and licensed Respiratory Therapist is available in-house from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with on-call personnel available for after hours, weekends, and holidays. We provide a range of respiratory therapy modalities and work with all age groups on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.
