Laboratory Services

Services include: Breath alcohol test (screen), Breath alcohol test (confirmation), Blood draw (phlebotomy), Glucose finger stick, Hair collection, DOT (Department of Transportation) urine collection, Non-DOT urine collection, Urine dip, Chain of custody urine drug testing, Alcohol urine testing through chain of custody, Instant/Rapid drug screen.

Franklin Hospital Senior Care

Senior Care is an Intensive Outpatient behavioral health program for older adults specifically tailored to meet the needs of those that struggle to deal with depression, grief, worry, anxiety, and isolation. As people grow older, they go through many changes and suffer many different types of losses. These challenges can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety for someone and often lead to feelings of sadness or depression. The good news is that the symptoms of anxiety and depression that often accompany these changes can be minimized and resolved with proper treatment.

Surgical Services

Surgeries are offered by Dr. Lawrence Hollander in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 

Surgical Services provided include: Biopsy of: Breast, Liver (intraoperative), Colonoscopy, EGD, Esophageal dilatation, Fistula in ano, Hemorrhoid excision, Hernia repair, Umbilical, Incision and Drainage of Abscess/Cysts, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Mastectomy, Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), Peritoneoscopy, Pilonidal cyst, Polypectomy, Port-a-cath insertion/removal, Skin lacerations, Skin tumors/lesions, Skin grafting, Toenail removal.

Franklin Hospital has three Clinics associated with it at four locations

Franklin Hospital has three clinics available to serve Franklin county.  Two primary care clinics available  within Franklin Hospital on two floors and the West Frankfort Family Healthcare Clinic in located in West Frankfort.

 Our third Clinic is a Specialty Clinic which offers to residents of our region specialty and sub-specialty physician services on the 3rd Floor of Franklin Hospital.

Outpatient Procedures

The Outpatient Procedures Dept. is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A nurse 
is available on weekends from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

IV hydration, IV therapy,  IV infusions, Administration of Blood and Blood Products, Blood Transfusion and Platelets, Lab Draw from Implanted Port or Venous Access Devices, Urinary Catheterization or Catheter Change, Simple Dressing Changes, Suture/ Staple Removal, PICC Line Insertions, removal, and maintenance.
