The Cancer Center

In September 2003, Clarion Hospital opened a state of the art, free-standing cancer center.  Located on the Clarion Hospital campus, the center offers both chemotherapy and radiation oncology services. The latest technologies and treatment options are available close to home where the patient is surrounded by family and friends. This enables patients to receive care without missing a whole day's work.

Conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital, the Surgicare service responds to patients and their families by providing private recovery areas, attentive recovery care by experienced nurses, and close communication with family members awaiting news of their loved one's surgery.  Shortly after patients have returned home to recover, they can expect a phone call from the Surgicare staff to make sure their recovery is progressing as expected.

Women's Health & Birthing Center

The Women's Health & Birth Center at Clarion Hospital offers inpatient, as well as outpatient, care to women with various health conditions.  Often referred to as a maternity unit, the Women's Health & Birthing Center also accommodates women recovering from gynecological and/or urological surgery.

Advanced Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center

The Wound Care Center is dedicated to the treatment of patients with chronic non-healing wounds resulting from a variety of causes including diabetes and vascular disease.  Nearly five million Americans suffer with chronic wounds that don’t heal or fail to improve within four weeks.  While most wounds heal quickly, there are specific types of wounds that cause severe problems if left untreated.  Three main factors for non-healing wounds include: diabetes, poor circulation and limited mobility.
