6. It doesn’t matter when you go outside. The pollen count stays the same all day.

With allergies, timing does matter. Plants release their pollen early in the morning. Counts peak by midday, then gradually fall. In general, you’re better off going out later in the day. But weather is important, too. You’re more likely to feel miserable on warm, breezy days than on cool, rainy days.
