When you arrive at the hospital, you will need to check in. You will sign a surgery consent form if you haven’t already.
Things you should bring with you
It is important that you have the following with you:

Insurance cards or forms

A list of any medicines your child takes regularly

A favorite toy or blanket for your child

For infants, a bottle and formula or pacifier for after surgery

Something to read while you wait
