Since 1980, the number of obese adults in the U.S. has doubled. According to the CDC, millions of Americans currently are obese. The increase in obesity isn’t limited to adults. The rate of obesity has tripled for children during this same time period. Find out more about the risks of extra weight by taking this quiz.

1. Being overweight puts you at risk for heart disease.
2. If you are overweight, losing weight helps lower your high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure.
