Typing Your Blood

Your blood type falls in one of four categories: A, B, O or AB. According to the American Red Cross, the largest group is the type O, with about 45 percent of Americans falling into this category. The next largest is type A, at 40 percent. Type B is about 11 percent of the population, and type AB is 4 percent.
