Our Services

Pediatric Care

Vernon Memorial Healthcare has a team of providers that specialize in family medicine, as well as a Pediatrician on staff that cares for children from birth to 21 years of age.  VMH prides itself in caring for the child through all stages of life and into adulthood.

Obstetric Care

Birthdays are special at Vernon Memorial Healthcare.  VMH offers "family-centered care" with private birthing suites and the latest technology tucked away and available at a moment's notice.  VMH offers many options before, during and after the baby's birth.  We accommodate our patients' needs with individualized care and stay within the margins of safety for mom and baby.

Vernon Memorial Healthcare has developed a "state of the art" Orthopaedic Center that utilizes the advanced technologies of orthopaedic surgery. This includes Minimally Invasive Surgery for hip and knee replacements as well as shoulder and knee reconstructions. Computer Assisted Surgery aids our surgeons in knee and hip replacements.

Vernon Memorial Healthcare’s surgical suites are digital operating rooms that incorporate voice-activated technology and ultra-modern equipment to provide the very best care available. Clinic staff, nursing staff and physical and occupational therapists are all extremely skilled and are important components to our team approach for treating orthopaedic problems.

Vernon Memorial Healthcare’s state-of-the-art surgery suites are staffed by highly-trained surgeons, registered nurses, certified nurse anesthetists and operating room technicians. Collaboration with support staff - such as radiology, lab and respiratory therapy helps us provide the best care possible.

The VMH Surgery Center is equipped with the latest technology available for inpatient and outpatient procedures. Minimally invasive surgical techniques incorporate miniature cameras with microscopes, tiny fiber-optic flashlights and high-definition monitors to allow our surgeons to perform surgery through an incision that requires only a stitch or two to close. For patients this means fewer traumas, less blood loss, smaller surgical scars, less need for pain medication and earlier discharge.

Our board-certified general surgeons provide evaluation and treatment for a broad range of surgical procedures from hernia repair to gall bladder removal. From ACL repair, to hip resurfacing, to total joint replacement, our skilled orthopaedic surgeons use the latest technology to surgically correct musculoskeletal problems and enable individuals to live fuller, more active lives.

Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Diagnostics

VMH Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Diagnostics provides education and comprehensive services that empower our patients and community to achieve and maintain optimal health. Our staff provides advice, emotional support, treatment and heart healthy exercise for individuals who do or do not have a history of heart disease. Our exercise physiologists have expertise in cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment and recovery.
